Omschrijving

Designed for applications on 12-24V vehicles, this marker light from Fristom s MV-100 serie provides a reliable solution for contour marking. Thanks to its integrated reflector function, this LED marker light contributes to additional visibility and road safety. The compact 100 x 50 x 32.5 mm housing is made of polycarbonate, which contributes to the product's impact resistance and durability. Both the lens and housing are made of the same material, simplifying construction. Surface mounting combined with a 50 cm long cable with open wire end allows installation on a variety of vehicle types. The marker light features CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 certification. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
