Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-600 serie includes LED marker lights designed for signalling applications on vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. This white light colour model is equipped with a reflector function and comes with an open wire end and 50 cm cable, suitable for surface mounting. Both the housing and the lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to impact resistance and durability in various working conditions. This LED marker light meets certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7. Its compact dimensions of 110x54x16 mm allow integration into a variety of vehicle types. The IP value is listed as 'WATERPROOF'; take this specification into account when deploying in humid environments. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
