Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-600 serie includes compact LED marker lights designed for use on vehicles within the 12-24 V voltage range. This model, equipped with amber coloured lens, combines the functions: side marker light and reflector. Its surface-mounted design and robust polycarbonate housing make it suitable for a variety of applications, including 12V semi-trailers, commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery. The dimensions of 110x75x35 mm and the 50 cm long cable with 1.5 mm² connector allow quick installation. The lens and housing are both made of polycarbonate for impact resistance. This LED marker light meets relevant vehicle lighting requirements with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R91 certification. Watertightness is marked 'WATERPROOF'. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
