We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains which personal data we collect, why we collect it and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you place an order, request a quote or contact support we collect: name, company name, billing and shipping address, VAT number (business), email, phone number, order contents and payment metadata. When you browse the site we also collect cookies, session data and aggregated analytics (device, browser, pages visited).
Order fulfilment, invoicing, customer support, legal obligations (tax, accounting), fraud prevention, and — with your consent — marketing emails and personalised recommendations. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.
Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for orders, legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) for accounting, legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for fraud prevention and essential analytics, and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for marketing communications.
Our own staff, plus specific processors: payment providers (Mollie), shipping carriers (DHL, DPD, UPS), email delivery (transactional: Resend), hosting (Vercel), and our ERP/WooCommerce back-office. All processors operate under GDPR-compliant data-processing agreements.
Order and invoice data: 7 years (statutory retention for tax records). Support tickets: 2 years after last activity. Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe. Cookies: maximum 12 months.
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, data portability, or object to processing. Write to privacy@vehiclelightshop.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with your national data-protection authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
