Omschrijving

The Fristom LED marker light M10MV-110W from the MV-100 serie is designed for visibility applications on vehicles in a variety of sectors. Operating on both 12 V and 24 V electrical systems, this marker light is widely applicable within light and heavy commercial vehicles. The marker light has a white light colour and also includes an integrated reflector function. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to shock resistance and long lifetime. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 130 x 32 x 14.5 mm and surface mounting, this model is easy to integrate. The cable length of 50 cm and 0.75mm² connector offers flexible connection options during installation. The product is certified according to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
