Omschrijving

This LED marker light from Fristom s MV-100 serie is designed for a wide range of applications within 12-24 V on-board voltage systems. Combining rear marker light and reflector, this product increases visibility at the rear of vehicles. Thanks to the robust polycarbonate construction for both housing and lens, it is suitable for long-term use under a variety of conditions. The marker light features an open wire end with a cable length of 50 cm, offering mounting flexibility. Its dimensions of 130 x 32 x 14.5 mm allow integration on various vehicle types. Watertightness is guaranteed by the IP classification 'WATERPROOF'; in addition, this model meets CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 certifications. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
