This marker light from Fristom s MV-100 serie features white LEDs and is designed for applications on vehicles within the 12-24V voltage range. The product features an open wire end with a cable length of 50cm. Its compact dimensions of 130 x 32 x 14.5mm make it easy to integrate into a variety of body designs. Its surface mount and slim construction make it suitable for a variety of marking purposes. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to impact resistance and weather resistance. This LED marker light is certified in accordance with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7. The product combines the function: reflector. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
