The Fristom MV-2760W from the MV-2700 serie is an LED marker light with a white light colour, designed for 12-24 V installations. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate and suitable for surface mounting. This marker light combines the function: reflector. Thanks to its multi-voltage operation, this LED marker light can be used on a wide range of vehicles, including 12V semi-trailers, commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery. With dimensions of 98x65x55 mm and a cable length of 50 cm with 0.75mm² connector, the product offers a compact and robust solution for marker lights. The Fristom MV-2760W complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 approvals. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
