Omschrijving

This red LED marker light from the Fristom MV-2700 serie is suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. The marker light combines the functions: Rear Marker Light and Reflector. Thanks to surface mounting and a sturdy housing made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, this product is suitable for use in a variety of conditions on road and work vehicles. The lens is also made of polycarbonate for increased durability. The marker light features a 0.75 mm² connector with 50 cm cable for easy installation. Dimensions are 96x42x33 mm. This model is certified to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7. The IP classification of this product is "WATERPROOF". ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
