Omschrijving

The Fristom marker light from the MV-2700 serie is designed for use on vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. This model is designed as a marker light in white colour and features a built-in reflector. Installation is easy thanks to surface mounting and a 50 cm connection cable with open wire end. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate for high impact resistance and durability in demanding conditions. With a compact size of 113x42x34 mm, this LED marker light is suitable for application on semi-trailers, commercial vehicles or agricultural vehicles. The water-resistant construction and certifications according to CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 guarantee reliable operation under various weather conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
