Omschrijving

This amber-coloured LED marker light from the Fristom MV-2700 serie is suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to surface mounting and a cable length of 50 cm with 0.75 mm² connector, this marker light can be easily installed on trucks, semi-trailers, semi-trailers and other commercial vehicles. The housing and lens are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, suitable for long-term use in demanding conditions. This LED marker light combines the functions: side marker light and reflector. The dimensions of 98x65x55 mm make this marker light compact for use in limited installation space. The product meets the requirements of CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R91. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
