Omschrijving

This LED marker light from Fristom s MV-2700 serie combines a rear marker light with integrated reflector. The compact 98x65x55 mm housing is made of polycarbonate and is suitable for surface mounting. Thanks to its multi-voltage specification of 12-24 V, this marker light is compatible with a variety of vehicle installations. Waterproof construction and certifications according to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 make this marker light suitable for professional use under various conditions. The product features a 0.75mm² connector with 50 cm cable for easy installation. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
