Omschrijving

This LED marker light from Fristom s MV-2700 serie comes in white light and features an integrated reflector function. Thanks to its compact size of 65x42x30 mm and robust polycarbonate housing, this marker light is suitable for mounting on a variety of vehicle types, such as semi-trailers, commercial vehicles and special vehicles. The surface-mount assembly enables easy installation, with a 50 cm long cable and 0.75mm² connector for direct connection to a 12-24 V voltage range. The marker light complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 guidelines. The housing is designed for long-term outdoor use and protects against weather influences in normal use. This version does not provide a specified light output, but is functional as a visual marker and reflective part of the vehicle. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
