Omschrijving

This LED marker light from Fristom s MV-100 serie comes in red and is suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to its compact size of 100 x 50 x 32.5 mm and surface mounting, the marker light is easy to use on various bodies or semi-trailers. The model combines the functions: rear marker lights and reflector. The housing and lens are both made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, which contributes to a long service life under various weather conditions. The unit is fitted with a 50 cm cable with 1.5mm² connector. This marker light complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7. Waterproof according to "WATERPROOF" standardisation. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
