Omschrijving

The Horpol VC-5002 from the Mavic serie is an LED rear light designed for applications on vehicles in the 12-24V segment. This model features an open wire end connection with 150 cm of cable and a robust surface-mounted housing made of polycarbonate. The rear light combines the functions: tail light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light, reversing light and licence plate light. In addition, a reflector is integrated. Thanks to its certified construction, this LED rear light meets CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R148 and ECE-R150 standards. The housing is made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and offers a protection rating of IP68, suitable for long-term use in demanding conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
