The Horpol VC-5051 from the Mavic serie is an LED rear light for applications on 12-24V systems. This model is designed for surface mounting and comes with an open wire end and 150cm connection cables. The lens and housing are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to its durability and impact resistance. With dimensions of 405x145x63 mm, this model is suitable for mounting on a variety of vehicle types. This LED rear light combines the functions: tail light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light, reverse light and licence plate light. The integrated reflector contributes to vehicle visibility. The rear light complies with ECE-R10, ECE-R148 and ECE-R150 guidelines and is certified to CE standards. Thanks to an IP68 rating, it is fully dust- and waterproof. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
