This LED rear light from the Horpol Mavic serie is designed for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to its surface mounting and 7-PIN AMP connector , this model is suitable for a variety of applications on trucks and semi-trailers, among others. Its dimensions of 405x145x63 mm make the luminaire suitable for mounting on vehicles with limited mounting space. Both the lens and the housing are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to high impact and weather resistance. This rear light combines the functions: tail light, brake light, indicator light, dynamic indicator light, fog light, reversing light and licence plate light. The luminaire complies with ECE-R10, ECE-R148 and ECE-R150 standards and has an IP68 protection rating, indicating that it is completely dust-proof and resistant to immersion. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
