Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-6500 serie has been developed for applications where clear contour marking is required. Suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V, this red LED marker light combines the functions: rear marker light and reflector. Its compact dimensions of 168 x 23.5 x 11 mm allow integration into a variety of bodywork. Thanks to the polycarbonate housing and lens, the marker light is resistant to mechanical influences. Surface mounting and 50 cm long cable with open wire end ensure easy installation. This model meets the requirements of CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R148 and ECE-R150, and is rated IP68, indicating full dust and water resistance. Plus points of this series: - Slimline design - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform look all round - Choice of adhesive mounting or screw mounting to fit your vehicles

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
