Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-1470R from the MV-1400 serie is a red LED marker light suitable for use on vehicles operating on 12-24 V installation voltage. The marker light combines the functions: rear marker light and reflector. Its surface-mounted design and compact dimensions of 120x67x18 mm make it suitable for a variety of applications within the transport and semi-trailer sector. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate for impact resistance and durability under changing conditions. The connection consists of a 50 cm cable length with a 1.5 mm² connector. This LED marker light complies with the approval marks CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7. Plus points of this series: - Various connectors available - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform look all around - Optionally available with mounting bracket

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
