Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-700 serie is designed for vehicles that require reliable marker lights. This red LED rear marker light with reflector function is suitable for surface mounting and is widely used on semi-trailers, semi-trailers and commercial vehicles. Thanks to its multi-voltage connection (12-24 V), it is compatible with a variety of vehicle installations.The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which ensures high impact resistance. The luminaire features an open wire end and 50 cm cable for efficient electrical connection. With dimensions of 126x51x26 mm, this marker light is compact in size. The MV-700 complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 directives and is therefore approved for use on public roads.

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
