Omschrijving

The Horpol MV-3200 serie includes compact LED marker lights, suitable for applications on vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. This model comes in red and combines the functions: rear marker light and reflector. Thanks to surface mounting and the 50 cm cable with open wire end, integration into various vehicle configurations is easy. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to a robust design. The LED marker lights from this series are dust- and waterproof in accordance with IP68, and meet the certifications CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7. The dimensions are 102x35x12 mm. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
