The Fristom VMR-214 from the VC-213 serie is a compact LED rear light for vehicles operating on 12-24 V systems. This rear light combines the functions: fog lights and reversing lights. In addition, the luminaire features a reflector, which contributes to vehicle visibility when stationary under poor lighting conditions. Thanks to its robust housing and polycarbonate lens, this model is resistant to external influences. With a construction shape of ø140 x 35mm and surface mounting, it is suitable for a variety of body configurations. The open wire end and 100cm cable offer flexible connection options. The IP68 protection rating guarantees water- and dust-tightness, while the certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R38 and ECE-R23 confirm compliance with relevant vehicle lighting standards. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
