Omschrijving

This compact round LED rear light from the Fristom 800-serie combines the functions: rear light, fog light and reflector. Thanks to surface mounting and the use of a 5-PIN bayonet connector, integration into existing systems is easy. The luminaire is constructed from an impact-resistant polycarbonate housing and lens material, suitable for demanding applications in both 12 V and 24 V electrical systems. The IP68-rated housing offers full protection against dust and long-term water immersion. In addition, this LED rear light complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R38 regulations. The round shape with a diameter of ø140 mm and a depth of 50.5 mm makes the product suitable for various vehicle categories, including semi-trailers, commercial vehicles and agricultural vehicles. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps.
