The Fristom model VK-2240 from the VC-2200 serie is an LED rear light designed for vehicles with a 12 V voltage range. This rear light combines the function: indicators. Its compact size of 99.5 x 93 x 30 mm makes it suitable for applications where limited installation space is available. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate and rubber, which contributes to the product's impact resistance and long-term usability. The open wire end and 100 cm long cable ensure flexibility in electrical connection. The surface mounting allows easy installation on different types of vehicles. This LED rear light meets the approval requirements CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R6-CAT1 and ECE-R7, and functionally meets the requirements for vehicle lighting within the European market. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
