This LED rear light from Fristom s 700-serie is suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to its surface-mounted design and 5-PIN bayonet connection, it is easy to install in a variety of applications within the automotive sector. The square rear light combines the indicator function with an integrated reflector in a compact size of 99.5 x 93 x 39.5 mm. The housing consists of polycarbonate and rubber, with a polycarbonate lens for increased impact resistance and durability. The product is water- and dust-proof to IP68 and meets the certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R6-CAT1. This makes the LED rear light suitable for use in a variety of conditions while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility and visibility according to European directives. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
