The Fristom 700-serie LED rear lights are designed for vehicles that need reliable rear lighting with a compact design. This model combines the functions: rear lights and reversing lights. In addition, it features an integrated reflector. Thanks to its square design and surface mounting, this LED rear light is suitable for various applications within the 12-24 V on-board system. The housing and lens are both made of polycarbonate, which contributes to its impact resistance. With a cable length of 100 cm and an open wire end, installation can be done flexibly. The degree of protection meets IP68, which means the product is dust- and waterproof. The LED rear light features the certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R23. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
