Omschrijving

The Fristom VC-2200 serie includes compact LED rear lights suitable for applications on 12 V vehicles. Thanks to surface mounting and open wire end connection with 100 cm cable, this version can be easily integrated into a variety of vehicle systems. This LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light and indicator. The housing is made of ABS, with an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens. The version is protected to IP68 and meets CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R6 certifications. This ensures reliable operation under a variety of conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R148 — unified signalling lamp regulation.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. It came into force for new vehicle type approvals in September 2023, with full mandatory application by 2027. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
