This LED rear light from the Fristom VC-2200 serie operates on 12 V and is equipped with a 5-PIN bayonet connector. The rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light and indicators. Its compact housing of 99.7 x 92.7 x 30 mm makes it suitable for vehicles with limited installation space. Made of ABS with a polycarbonate lens, the luminaire is designed for surface mounting. Thanks to its IP68 rating, this LED rear light is completely dust- and waterproof. Compliance with CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R6 makes the product applicable within European vehicle lighting regulations. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
