Omschrijving

The TRALERT® VC-140 serie comprises compact LED rear lights suitable for use on vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to the ø140 x 25 mm form factor and the open wire end with 150 cm cable, this model is easy to install in rear bumpers, among other places. The surface-mount housing is made of ABS, with an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens. This LED rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light and indicator. The VC-140D features protection class IP67 and meets certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7, ECE-R6 and has D-homologation for tail light applications. This makes the light technically suitable for various vehicle installations where robustness and reliability are required. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
