Omschrijving

This LED side marker light from Horpol s MB-4800 serie is designed for vehicles with an on-board voltage of 12-24 V. The side marker light combines the functions: rear marker light and side marker light. Thanks to its design in red, white and amber, it is suitable for mounting on the right side of vehicles within a variety of transport and logistics applications. The light features a rubber housing and an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, suitable for hanging mounting. With protection class IP68, the luminaire is fully dust- and waterproof. Certifications according to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R91 support technical conformity with European directives. Connection is via an open wire end with a cable length of 50 cm. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps.
