This LED side marker light from Horpol s MB-4800 serie is designed for use on vehicles with an on-board voltage of 12-24 V. The housing is made of rubber and features an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens. Thanks to its surface-mounted design and open wire end with 50 cm cable, this side marker light is easy to connect in various vehicle systems. The light combines the functions: rear marker light and side marker light, finished in red, white and amber. With dimensions of 118x100x55 mm, this model offers a compact solution for visibility around the vehicle. The light meets IP68 and is certified to CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R91 standards. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
