The Horpol MB-4800 serie LED side marker lights are suitable for use on vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. This model combines the functions: rear marker light and side marker light. Thanks to the rubber housing and a polycarbonate lens, the luminaire is resistant to influences of shock and vibration, promoting durability in heavy use. With a dimensions of 64x100x55 mm and a 50 cm cable with open wire end, this LED side marker light is suitable for surface mounting. The protection rating IP68 indicates that the light is fully dust-proof and protected against long-term immersion. The MB-4800 serie is certified to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R91, fulfilling relevant directives for electromagnetic compatibility and vehicle lighting. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
