Omschrijving

The Fristom MB-800 serie LED side marker lights is designed for use as right-mounted marker lights on vehicles within voltage ranges of 12-24 V. This model combines the rear marker light and side marker light in one housing and is all-round red, white and amber coloured light, depending on the viewing direction. Thanks to its compact construction with a rubber housing and a polycarbonate lens, this LED side marker light is suitable for mounting under a variety of conditions. The light comes with a 50 cm cable and an open wire end for flexible installation. The assembly complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R7 and ECE R91 directives. A short, sturdy stem facilitates surface mounting on the side or rear of vehicles such as semi-trailers or commercial vehicles. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
