The Horpol MB-4231RW is part of the MB-4200 serie and is a compact LED side marker light suitable for vehicles with a voltage range of 12-24 V. Thanks to its robust design with a rubber housing and impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, this side marker light is suitable for mounting in a variety of conditions, including applications in the transport and agriculture sectors. With a combined red and white lens, this model fulfils the function of rear marker lights. The housing is designed for surface mounting and features an open wire end with a cable length of 23 cm. The light meets the certifications CE, ECE R10 and ECE R7 and is dust- and waterproof according to protection class IP68, which contributes to long and trouble-free use in various weather conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
