This LED rear light from Fristom s VC-4600 serie is designed for vehicle applications with an on-board voltage of 12 V. Thanks to its robust housing and polycarbonate lens, it is suitable for long-term use in a variety of conditions. The combination of CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R148 and ECE-R150 certifications and IP68 rating guarantees resistance to dust and water, as well as electromagnetic compatibility. This rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake lights, indicators and licence plate light. It features an open wire end and a cable length of 100 cm, and is attached via surface-mounting. Its dimensions are 240x140x58 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicles. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
