This LED rear light from Fristom s VC-4600 serie is suitable for applications with a standard on-board voltage of 12 V. It is a surface-mounted model with an open wire end and a cable length of 100 cm. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which contributes to resistance to mechanical influences in demanding conditions. This rear light combines the functions: rear light, brake light and indicators. Thanks to its IP68 rating, the product is completely dust- and waterproof. The VC-4600CAN complies with CE, ECE R10, ECE R148 and ECE R150 directives, allowing deployment within European vehicle applications. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
