Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-2200 serie consists of compact LED marker lights with a striking neon look. This model comes in red and combines the functions: rear marker light and reflector. Thanks to the wide voltage range of 12-24 V, this marker light can be used on various commercial vehicles, semi-trailers and other vehicles. The housing and lens consist of polycarbonate, which contributes to the product's impact and weather resistance. The MV-2200R features an open wire end with 50cm cable and comes with a mounting bracket for easy surface mounting as standard. The marker lights have ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R7 approval and conform to CE directives. The compact dimensions allow the light to be easily and discreetly integrated into various vehicle designs. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
