Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-2200 serie includes this amber coloured LED marker light, designed for visibility along vehicles in a variety of applications in transport and logistics. This marker light combines the functions: side marker lights and reflector. With a robust housing and polycarbonate lens, it is resistant to mechanical stress and suitable for mounting on the outside of vehicles. The surface mounting and open wire end with 50 cm cable ensure easy installation. Compatible with on-board 12-24 V systems, this model complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R91 directives, allowing deployment in European road traffic. Thanks to the use of neon-look LED technology, this marker light offers a contemporary look and uniform light distribution. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
