Omschrijving

The Fristom MV-6200 serie has been developed for signalling purposes on a variety of vehicles. This LED marker light provides a red light colour and integrates the functions: Rear Marker Light and Reflector. Thanks to its compact design of 65x28x18 mm, this model is suitable for mounting in locations with limited installation space. The polycarbonate housing and lens offer protection against mechanical influences and weather conditions. With IP68 rating, the water- and dust-proof design is suitable for intensive outdoor use. CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R148 approvals confirm conformity with relevant regulations for electromagnetic compatibility and vehicle approval. The marker light functions within a voltage range of 12-24 V and features an open wire end with 15 cm cable for direct connection. Plus points of this series: - Compact design - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform look all around - Available with dark-look lens or clear lens

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
