Omschrijving

This Fristom MV-1200 serie LED marker light is designed for applications on 12-24 V vehicles, including semi-trailers, commercial vehicles and agricultural vehicles. Thanks to its compact housing of 123x80x38 mm and robust surface-mounting, it is suitable for installation at various positions around the vehicle. This model offers the function: reflector. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, contributing to an impact-resistant construction with a long service life. Connection is via an open wire end with 50cm cable, which supports various installation situations. This marker light meets the certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7. The IP value is specified as WATERPROOF. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
