Omschrijving

This LED marker light from Fristom s MV-1200 serie is designed for use on vehicles in a variety of applications, including transport, agriculture and construction. With dimensions of 125x60x24 mm and a robust housing made of polycarbonate, this marker light is suitable for surface mounting. The marker light operates on 12-24 V and features a 0.75 mm² connector with 50 cm cable. The lens and housing are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, which contributes to its durability in demanding environments. This light combines the functions: side marker light and reflector. The luminaire meets CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R91 certification standards. Its waterproofing is indicated as WATERPROOF, making it suitable for use in varying weather conditions. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
