This LED marker light from the Fristom MV-2900 serie is designed for 12-24 V systems and suitable for universal vehicle installations. The model MV-2970A combines the functions: side marker light and reflector, contributing to visibility and safety in traffic. Thanks to its compact size of 118x60x30 mm, this marker light is well suited to a variety of vehicles. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, which protects the product against mechanical influences. Connection is via a 50 cm cable with a 1.5 mm² connector. Surface mounting allows easy installation. The MV-2970A meets the certifications CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R91. According to manufacturer's statement, the construction is waterproof. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
