Omschrijving

The Horpol MV-3350A from the MV-3300 serie is an LED marker light suitable for 12-24 V vehicle installations. This model comes with an open wire end and 50 cm cable, and is finished in amber for use as a side marker light. The marker light combines the functions: side marker light and reflector. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate, a material resistant to external influences. With a dimensions of 122x60x19 mm, the design is suitable for compact installation situations. Thanks to surface mounting, the product is easy to install on various body or semi-trailer surfaces. The marker light complies with the provisions of CE, ECE R10, ECE R3 and ECE R91. Protection against dust and water is guaranteed according to the IP68 classification. Plus points of this series: - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform look all round - Optionally available with integrated mounting bracket - Available in short or long format where the light remains the same

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
