The Fristom MV-3300 serie includes these LED marker lights, designed for applications as side marker lights, side indicators and reflector. Thanks to its multivoltage operation between 12-24 V, this model is suitable for both light and heavier commercial vehicles. The housing and lens are made of polycarbonate. This material is impact-resistant and can withstand harsh conditions, making the light suitable for long-term use in a variety of weather conditions. Surface mount with a 50 cm cable and open wire end offers installation flexibility. With dimensions of 122 x 60.5 x 19mm, this LED marker light is compact and effective. With certifications CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R91 and ECE-R6-CAT5, the product meets related standards for electromagnetic compatibility and lighting requirements. The protection rating IP68 ensures full dust and water resistance. Plus points of this series: - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform look all round - Optionally available with integrated mounting bracket - Available in short or long format where the light remains the same

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
