Omschrijving

The Horpol MV-3300 serie includes compact LED marker lights designed for vehicles on 12-24 V installations. This model has a polycarbonate housing and lens, making it resistant to weather and impact. Surface mounting and the open wire end with 50 cm cable allow easy installation. With dimensions of 122x44x16 mm and a white light colour, this LED marker light is suitable for a variety of vehicle applications. The reflector function contributes to extra visibility. The IP68 rating ensures full dust and water resistance. In addition, this marker light complies with CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R3 and ECE-R7 guidelines. Plus points of this series: - Available in amber, red and white for a uniform look all round - Optionally available with integrated mounting bracket - Available in short or long format where the light remains the same

ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

ECE R87 — daytime running lamps.

DRLs became mandatory on new EU-registered vehicles in February 2011. R87 is the regulation they comply with. It specifies luminous intensity, colour, geometry and, critically, the switching logic — a DRL that fails to shut off under main-beam is as non-compliant as one that was never fitted.
