The Horpol MB-1012RW from the MB-1000 serie is an LED side marker light with angled stem and a recognisable Swedish-style design. This side marker light is designed for mounting on the right side of trucks and semi-trailers. The housing is made of rubber, which contributes to impact resistance, and the lens is made of polycarbonate for extra durability. This LED side marker light emits red and white light and has a single light function: rear marker light. Thanks to its compatibility with 12-24 V electrical systems, this model is widely applicable in various vehicle categories. The light is equipped with an open wire end and a 50 cm long cable. Its dimensions are 192.5 x 168 x 87mm, and the light is surface-mounted. This LED side marker light meets IP68 and is certified to CE, ECE R10 and ECE R7. This makes the light resistant to dust, water and electromagnetic interference, and suitable for use in professional vehicle applications. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
