The Horpol MB-1000 serie offers durable solutions for visibility around vehicles. This LED side marker light is designed in a Swedish style and is suitable for applications on trucks and semi-trailers. Equipped with an angled pendant arm, this variant fits functionally and aesthetically with modern vehicle designs. The luminaire features a red and white light colour combination and provides the function: rear marker lights. Thanks to the rubber housing and a polycarbonate lens, the light is shock and weather resistant. The IP68 rating confirms a water- and dust-proof construction. This LED side marker light operates on a voltage range of 12-24 V and features a 50cm long connection cable with open wire end. Certifications include CE, ECE-R10 and ECE-R7. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.

R148 replaces and unifies the previous patchwork of lamp regulations (R6, R7, R23, R38, R77, R87, R91) into one consolidated standard for signalling lamps. What was once seven regulations covering direction indicators, position lamps, reversing lamps, parking lamps, end-outline markers, DRLs and side-marker lamps is now one document.
