This LED side marker light from Horpol s MB-1000 serie is designed for applications on trucks and semi-trailers. The use of a rubber housing and polycarbonate lens makes the construction resistant to mechanical stress and weathering. The light combines red and white light colours, and is equipped with an open wire end and 50 cm cable for easy connection. The IP68 rating indicates that the lighting is fully dust-proof and resistant to long-term immersion. In addition, the product complies with CE, ECE R10 and ECE R7 directives. With dimensions of 192.5 x 168 x 87 mm, this LED side marker light offers a recognisable profile and good visibility in traffic. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
