The Horpol MB-1020 serie LED side marker lights is designed for vehicles where visibility and robust mounting are essential, such as trucks and semi-trailers. This model, MB-1020RA, features a short pendant stem and a frosted lens. The light combines amber coloured light at the front with red light at the rear, keeping the contour of the vehicle clearly visible. With a housing made of rubber and a lens made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, this LED side marker light is suitable for mounting in demanding environments. The product has an IP68 rating, making it fully protected against dust and long-term immersion. Connection is via an open wire end with 50 cm cable. Classified according to CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R6-CAT5 and ECE-R7 standards. Operating voltage covers 12-24 V. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
