The Horpol MB-1021RA from the MB-1020 serie is an LED side marker light with an angled stem and frosted lens, designed for vehicles that require extra side visibility, such as trucks and semi-trailers. The combination of amber and red light increases safety while driving in a variety of conditions. Thanks to its robust rubber housing and polycarbonate lens , the light is resistant to mechanical stress and weather conditions. Suitable for a voltage range of 12-24 V, this LED side marker light comes with a 50 cm cable and an open wire end for flexible installation. The surface-mount mounting allows easy mounting of the light on various vehicle types. The MB-1021RA meets CE, ECE-R10, ECE-R7 and ECE-R6-CAT5 standards and has a protection rating of IP68, indicating that the product is fully dustproof and waterproof. ECE R48 — where every lamp on a vehicle must sit.

R48 is the master installation regulation. It defines which lamps are mandatory, which are optional, where they may be mounted, and how they must switch. Individual lamp regulations (R7 for position, R87 for DRL, R65 for beacons) certify the lamp itself. R48 certifies the vehicle on which the lamps are fitted.
